Internships

Overview of Internships

Little Friends For Peace offers fall, spring, and summer internships at its DC location in a variety of roles that provide hands-on experience in a nonprofit dedicated to growing peace in our communities.

LFFP seeks motivated self-starters who will work part-time to assist LFFP in a variety of fields. Interns should be effective communicators with time management skills. For Winter and Spring, applications will remain open until the positions are filled. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

2026 Internship Opportunities

Administrative Assistant Internship 
May- August: Rolling Application

The Administrative Assistant Intern will assist with all details of program delivery at sites determined by the ED and Program Coordinator. They will also manage contacts and assist with email blasts and mass mailings. This position also includes direct service in a variety of programs if the individual chooses to participate.

Communications Internship

Monitoring and Evaluation Internship
May- August:​ Rolling Application

The Monitoring and Evaluation Intern will track and record all data that pertains to LFFP programming. They will also develop M&E processes and tools that produce high quality, actionable and shareable information. This position also includes direct service in a variety of programs if the individual chooses to participate.
