2026 Spring Campaign: Send a Child to Peace Camp!

Picture
Little Friends for Peace is raising scholarship support so no child is turned away from Peace Camp!
For many children, Peace Camp is the first place where they feel truly heard, valued, and connected with others. Campers learn empathy, cooperation and how to resolve conflicts peacefully. Over the past decade alone, LFFP has facilitated 83 Peace Camps serving more than 3,700 children. Post-camp surveys show nearly a 40% increase in children’s reported ability to resolve conflicts peacefully!

Together, we can help seeds of peace grow in the hearts of children and the life of our communities!

Double Your Impact: $20,000 Match

Thanks to the generosity of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace, your donation will unlock a dollar-for-dollar matching gift and send twice as many children to Peace Camp this summer! Our matching campaign is still live, so be sure to take advantage and double your impact today.

Why Are We Called Little Friends for Peace?
When our founders, MJ and Jerry Park, started this journey more than 40 years ago, they believed that peace begins with the little things — small acts of kindness, listening, and care that ripple outward to transform families, schools, and communities.

The name Little Friends for Peace was born from that vision.
  • "Little" reminds us that peace is not abstract or unreachable. It grows in everyday actions, often beginning with children, and expands as we learn to practice it in our own lives.
  • “Friends” reflects our commitment to building relationships. Peace is not a solo endeavor — it flourishes in community, connection and respect.
  • “For Peace” grounds us in our purpose: to teach, model, and spread the skills of peace. We believe that everyone — no matter their age, background, or life experience — can become a peacemaker.

Over the decades, thousands of children, teachers, families, and community members have joined us in this mission. They become our “little friends” too, spreading peace in their classrooms, neighborhoods, workplaces, and across the world.

Our name is both a reminder and an invitation. Every person has the power to be a friend for peace.
